Know before you go

• Renters must be at least 26 years old
• Operators need at least two years of experience with similar-sized vessels, no marine losses in 10 years, no violations or suspensions in five years, and no criminal convictions or no-contest pleas
• Renters born after January 1, 1988 must have a Boater's License
• Bring a driver's license or passport for check-in
• All passengers must sign a release waiver at the store
• Stay within the Intracoastal and Sarasota Bay area; Gulf of Mexico use is not permitted
• Do not travel north of the south end of Longboat Key or south of the Venice Jetties
• Renters are responsible for property damage and injuries to themselves and passengers
