1-Day Search & Recovery Diving Course in Ramrod Key

Itinerary

Upon completion of your academic materials prior to your arrival, we will conduct a classroom academic review session followed by a pool session to learn the vital skills required for locating, rigging, and safely lifting an object to the surface. In the afternoon we will conduct 2 open water training dives to put your new skills to the test at the Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary reef.

Important details

• Meet the minimum age of 12
• Hold an Open Water Diver certification or comparable certification from a recognized training agency
• Complete applicable academic materials before the first course day
• Expect alternate open-water training sites if weather prevents training at Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary
• Expect boat trips to depend on weather and minimum participant numbers
