Self-Guided ATV & UTV Rental on the Oregon Dunes

Explore the Oregon Dunes without a guide, with the freedom to roam the dune area during your rental. Find a machine suited to your age and experience, from beginner ATVs to sporty off-road vehicles.

Important details

• 50cc ATV: ages 5–9 only, with a maximum weight of 65 lbs
• Polaris 110cc and Yamaha 125cc ATVs: ages 9–12 only, with a maximum weight of 130 lbs
• Kymco ATV: ages 12+ only. Honda 250 EX: ages 14+ only; requires shifting gears
• Can-Am 450 and Outlander two-seat quads: ages 18+ and a minimum rider height of 60 inches
• Raptor 700: ages 30+ only; requires experience riding high-performance ATVs and uses a five-speed manual transmission
• Can-Am Sport and Honda Pioneer UTVs: drivers ages 25+ only. Honda Pioneer drivers must also meet a minimum height of 42 inches
• Polaris RS-1, Can-Am X3 two-seat and four-seat models, Can-Am Max, and Yamaha Wolverine: drivers ages 30+ only. The four-seat Can-Am X3 also requires a minimum rider height of 60 inches
• Riders under 18 require adult accompaniment. Bring written consent from a parent or guardian if that parent or guardian will not be present
• If you're over 18, bring a valid driver's license or ID. Drivers with suspended or revoked licenses cannot drive
• Bring the credit card used for the reservation. A security hold for potential vehicle damage, separate from the listed price, will be placed on your credit card on the rental day
• The 50cc ATV is restricted to flat, open practice areas, not the dunes. The Polaris 110cc and Yamaha 125cc ATVs are restricted to the KOA Mini Dunes
• Wear closed-toe shoes and a helmet. Bring a fully charged cell phone
• Arrive 30–60 minutes before your start time for check-in and safety instructions. Your rental time will not be extended if these run past your scheduled start
