Self-Guided Raft Rental on Madison River

Take an unguided float on the Madison River with room to relax and set your own pace. Your raft, safety orientation, and shuttle support are handled for you.

Know before you go

• Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled start time
• Sign a release, waiver, and assumption-of-risk agreement before participating
• A Montana Conservation License is required for everyone over age 12; a valid Montana hunting or fishing license qualifies
• At least one adult age 18 or older is required with children under 14
• Requires basic mobility and reasonably good physical condition
• Pregnant women are not permitted
• Wear shoes that stay on your feet; flip-flops and glass are not allowed
• Expect a $100 charge if you are more than 30 minutes late to the launch or takeout
• Return in time for the final shuttle, which leaves the river at 4 PM
