Seward Guided Halibut & Salmon Fishing Charter

Fish Alaska’s Area 3A on a 12-hour Guided Angler Fish trip from Seward. Retain one halibut on midweek non-retention days and target additional seasonal species.

• Retain one halibut of any size through the Guided Angler Fish program
• Target seasonal rockfish, silver salmon, or king salmon when available
• Spend up to 12 hours fishing Alaska’s Area 3A waters
• Fish on Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout the season

Know before you go

• Meet at Alaska Seafood Grill between 5:30am and 5:45am; the boat departs at 6am and returns between 4:30pm and 6pm
• Obtain a current Alaska Department of Fish and Game fishing license before departure and bring a printed or digital copy
• Purchase a King Salmon Stamp if booking a King Salmon combo
• Pay a $20 charter halibut stamp fee per day if you are 18 or older and intend to catch and retain halibut
• Bring your own food and beverages; small lunch coolers are allowed, but large coolers are not
• Wear warm layers and water-resistant shoes or boots, and bring rain gear, a hat, gloves, sunscreen, sunglasses, and seasickness remedies
• Pay a 7% tax and a $3.50 per-person head tax; a fuel surcharge may apply, so clarify the applicable amount with Greetwell before booking
