Itinerary
- Check in 30 minutes early. Bring your government-issued photo ID and credit card, complete your waiver, and confirm your return time.
- Get ready to paddle. Collect your paddle and life jacket, then review basic kayaking instructions and the approved paddling area with our team.
- Explore Mission Bay. Enjoy a self-guided outing at your own pace within the permitted operating area.
- Return to the beach launch. Arrive back by your scheduled end time and return your kayak and issued equipment.

Important details
- Ages 18+ only: each kayak must have an adult aboard at all times
- Bring a valid government-issued photo ID; a separate ID is required for each kayak
- Participation is subject to equipment capacity, proper life jacket fit, and staff safety approval
- Dogs are welcome aboard
- Bring the credit card used for your reservation; a credit card must be presented for each kayak
- Complete the required waiver and safety briefing before departure
- Use your life jacket as directed and follow staff instructions and posted restrictions
- Stay within the approved Mission Bay paddling area; ocean, inlet, jetty, and designated swimming-zone access is not permitted
- Wind, weather, water conditions, and official restrictions may affect whether you can launch and where you can paddle
Cancellation Policy
You'll receive a full refund if you cancel with at least 72 hours' notice or if the operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Refunds take up to 30 days to process. No-shows and same-day cancellations are charged the full price.
