Take on Class IV Slaughterhouse Falls with free trip photos
Half Day
River gear, snacks, photos
Raft the Slaughterhouse section of the Roaring Fork River just minutes from downtown Aspen on an advanced Class IV run with boulder gardens and a waterfall. Wrap up your half-day trip with snacks, cold drinks, and free photos.
Minimum age is 14–16 depending on water level. Gratuity is not included; 18–22% is standard for the guiding industry.
Cancel 48 hours in advance for a full refund, less booking fee and credit card fees. Cancellations within 48 hours are charged the full amount. The operator may cancel or reschedule due to weather or river levels at no cost to the customer.
Wear a bathing suit under comfortable clothes so you have dry clothes to change into after the river. Bring your own water bottle. Sunglasses (with a strap), sunscreen, and a cap are recommended.
This is an advanced trip that can be physically challenging. Prior rafting experience and good physical condition are recommended.
Send everyone’s name, height, weight, and shoe size so proper-fitting wetsuits can be brought for your group. Share any important medical conditions (for example, heart conditions or food allergies).

Repeat customers are common here, with several families and groups already planning their return trips.
Trevor was absolutely a 5-star guide. Our fly fishing trip in March was incredible from start to finish. The views were stunning, and Trevor’s expertise really showed in how smoothly everything went. We caught both rainbow and brown trout, and each fishing stop felt unique and thoughtfully chosen. Everything was fully equipped with all the gear we needed, which made the experience easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend Trevor for anyone looking for a memorable fly fishing trip.
