Fort Lauderdale
Sea Experience has clearly built something special in Fort Lauderdale's dive scene. Reviewers consistently praise the professionalism and warmth of the crew, with instructors like Armando, Josh White, and Tiffany earning repeat mentions for their patience and skill. The team excels at making nervous or rusty divers feel comfortable, while experienced divers appreciate the freedom to explore independently. Multiple people highlight the quality of rental gear and the variety of dive sites, from wreck sequences like the Jay Scutti and Tracey to popular spots like Hog Heaven. The welcoming atmosphere stands out across reviews. Solo divers mention feeling included, first-timers describe gaining confidence quickly, and regulars talk about being treated like family. Whether you're doing a PADI refresher, getting certified for the first time, or joining a snorkel trip, the crew adapts well to different skill levels. The boats are well-maintained, captains handle conditions smoothly, and the overall vibe balances professionalism with genuine friendliness. A few reviewers note the divemasters sometimes stay on the boat rather than guiding underwater, which works great for self-sufficient divers but might matter if you prefer constant supervision.
We thoroughly enjoyed our snorkeling excursion. Our son (a competitive swimmer) had never tried, and he was on crutches (sprained ankle). They were very understanding and helpful. Our other son had also never tried. All of us loved free-diving close to the reef to better see the fishes and corals. Wish there had been a longer trip those days, and that the weather had been better so we could go a second time.
