Ben (and sometimes Dan or "the Bens") consistently gets rave reviews for making e-foiling incredibly accessible to complete beginners. Most groups report getting up and riding within 10-30 minutes, which is impressive considering how intimidating the sport can initially seem. The instruction style strikes a great balance between thorough safety prep and giving riders freedom to find their rhythm once they've got the basics down. Several reviewers specifically mention how patient and reassuring the instructors are, which seems especially valuable for nervous first-timers. The location itself is a major advantage, operating in a calm, protected cove that's perfect for learning. People describe it as easier than traditional surfing and genuinely fun rather than just a novelty activity. The quality equipment and professional approach create a safe learning environment, while the positive, laid-back coaching style keeps things enjoyable throughout. Return customers and groups consistently mention this as a highlight of their Hawaii trip, with many already planning their next session before they've even left the water.
Fantastic professional operation. Ben was my instructor and was a fantastic patient instructor even though I am sure I was a total spaz. Thanks a ton. I will be back!!
