Itinerary

1. Start with pickup in Cairns or Port Douglas. The Join-in Transfer from Cairns option has departures at 03:50, 04:00, or 04:15; shared pickup may run early or late. Scheduled pickup is 04:30 for the Private Transfer from Cairns option and 05:00 for the Private Transfer from Port Douglas option, with times varying by season.
2. Take off for a hot air balloon ride over the Tablelands region. Both private-transfer options list a 06:00 arrival to watch the balloon inflate before your flight.
3. Land back in the Tablelands region. Both private-transfer options list this stage at 09:00.
4. With either private-transfer option, continue by private transfer to a beachfront five-star resort in Palm Cove for a private breakfast at NuNus, including a glass of sparkling wine. The join-in option does not include this breakfast stop.
5. Finish with an included return shuttle. The private-transfer option from Cairns lists the return at 09:30; the private-transfer option from Port Douglas lists it at 11:00.

Important details

• Ages 3+ only for the balloon flight. Children aged 3–12 require an accompanying paying adult.
• With private-transfer options, ages 13–17 may fly without an adult in the balloon but require a responsible adult for the rest of the tour.
• Child tickets cover ages 3–14 with shared transfers and ages 3–17 with private transfers. Ages 15+ use adult tickets with shared transfers.
• Children aged 0–2 may attend only as spectators, supervised by an adult spectator; they cannot fly.
• Requires standing throughout the flight and climbing a 1.2-meter foothold ladder into the basket without assistance.
• This activity is not wheelchair- or stroller-accessible.
• Not suitable during pregnancy. Private-transfer options are also unsuitable if you went diving the previous day.
• You cannot fly if alcohol, drugs, or prescription medicine impair your judgment.
• Do not bring large bags. Handbags and backpacks are not permitted in the balloon basket.
• Do not wear heels, slippers, or skirts.
• Arrive 10 minutes before departure for shared transfers or 15 minutes before departure for private transfers.
