Explore Project Chimps in Georgia’s Blue Ridge Mountains on a volunteer-led Supporter Tour, then join the Lunch Launch to help feed the chimps. Observe the habitats from designated areas, with chimps choosing where to spend their day.
- Observe chimpanzees in their habitats during a 60–90 minute walking tour
- Help feed the chimps lunch during a 30-minute rooftop Lunch Launch
- Follow your guide along outdoor paths with some steep grades
- Use the elevator to reach the second floor, then take 12 steps to the launch pad
- Request a mobility support cart when booking, seating up to 5 guests
Things to know
Book at least 72 hours in advance. Tour requests must be made one week in advance and require a $25 deposit at the time of request. Lunch Launches are not offered December–February due to winter weather safety concerns.
Cancellation Policy
$25 deposits are non-refundable. Request refunds at least 24 hours before your tour date. No tour costs can be refunded for requests made less than 24 hours before your tour date, but tours can be rescheduled. If a weather advisory affects travel, you will be recommended to reschedule.
