Enjoy a self-guided 12-mile paddle on the North Branch of the Susquehanna River, with gear options and a shuttle to get you to the launch. You’ll check in at the River Shop in Falls, then float back through calm bends, open views, and wooded stretches.
All participants must wear a life vest at all times. Children must be at least 4 years old and weigh 40+ lbs; ages 12+ may paddle solo with parent/guardian permission. Not recommended for non-swimmers or those with limited mobility, and not wheelchair accessible.
Cancellations are accepted up to 48 hours before your activity. No-shows are charged full price.
How early should we arrive for check-in and the shuttle?
Please arrive 20–30 minutes before your scheduled start time to allow for check-in, life vest fitting, and shuttle loading.
Where does the trip start and end?
Check-in is at Susquehanna Kayak & Canoe Rentals (River Shop) at 119 Krafty Rd., Falls, PA 18615. You’ll shuttle to the Tunkhannock launch and your paddle ends back at the River Shop in Falls (no return shuttle needed).
What happens if the weather or river conditions are unsafe?
Trips are weather permitting and may be delayed or rescheduled due to high water, thunderstorms, or other unsafe river conditions.
Are there any age, weight, or solo paddling requirements?
Children must be at least 4 years old and weigh 40+ lbs. Ages 12+ may paddle solo with parent/guardian permission.
What is the cancellation and no-show policy?
Cancellations are accepted up to 48 hours before the activity, with refunds issued as a gift card (valid for future bookings and transferable). No-shows are charged full price. If the operator cancels due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, you’ll receive a gift card refund.
