Important details

• A valid driver's license with a motorcycle endorsement is required. Bring it for inspection upon arrival; without it, your rental will be canceled.
• Included insurance requires age 21 or older. Riders under 21 need their own comprehensive insurance.
• Fuel and the charges below are not included in the listed price and are charged separately when applicable. Return the motorcycle with a full tank of 92-octane gasoline; otherwise, a $25 fuel charge applies.
• Damage liability includes the first $5,000 of motorcycle damage, regardless of fault, plus lost rental revenue while repairs or replacement parts keep the motorcycle out of service. Violating rental rules can make you responsible for all damage and invalidate insurance.
• A $50 charge applies for each lost key, flat tire, dead battery, missing registration card or missing no-fault insurance card. A missing license plate costs $125.
• A lost or damaged helmet carries a minimum $100 charge, including scratches, scuffs, dents or cracks.
• You are responsible for tire-changing and roadside-service costs, lost or stolen tools and accessories, and parking or traffic fines. Mechanical damage caused by negligent operation or missed maintenance is also your responsibility.
• Wear closed-toed shoes and long pants. A signed waiver is required and can be completed in person on arrival.
• Keep the motorcycle on Maui. You are the only authorized driver; do not transfer or sublet the rental.
• Follow traffic laws. Do not race, ride recklessly, ride under the influence, tow anything or transport passengers or property for hire.
• Do not carry surfboards, kayaks, canoes or gliders. Attaching equipment or other items requires written permission.
• Check engine oil levels at every refueling. Mechanical failures, accidents, theft and impoundment require immediate reporting. A police report is required immediately for damage and within 2 hours of an accident.
• Lock the motorcycle and remove the keys whenever it is not in use. If it is stolen or missing, return the keys; failure to return them or complete the required police report can leave you responsible for rental charges until recovery.
• Return the motorcycle in its original condition, allowing for ordinary wear, and remove your belongings before returning it.
• Return the motorcycle by its due-back date and time. Returns 30 minutes or more late incur at least one hour of additional rental charges. If a late return causes the next reservation to be lost, you are liable for that reservation's full charges. Overdue motorcycles are reported to police as missing vehicles.
