Launch directly from the shoreline for a paddle on Lake Pleasant. You'll walk into the water to launch and return your kayak, so expect wet feet and footwear.

Important details

• Ages 18+ only to rent. Children 12 and under must share a tandem kayak with an adult.
• Kayak weight capacity: 500 lbs.
• Bring a photo ID or current driver's license for pickup.
• Late-return charges are not included in the listed price. After a 15-minute grace period, you'll be charged for an additional rental hour.
• Equipment recovery, repair, and replacement charges are not included in the listed price. Recovery of lost or abandoned equipment costs $50 per hour, and repair work costs $50. Replacement costs are $700 for a tandem kayak, $25 for a life jacket, and $60 for a paddle. The operator determines whether damaged equipment needs repair or replacement.
• Sign the waiver before arrival.
• Wear secure footwear that can get wet, and follow staff safety instructions before entering the water.
• Rentals may be suspended or ended if weather or water conditions become unsafe.
• Rentals operate on Saturdays only, April–October.
• Arrive a few minutes early for check-in, equipment assignment, and life jacket fitting. Your rental time starts at your reserved time; return your equipment by the scheduled return time.
