Important details
- Rental age is 18+. At least one person age 18+ is required on board at all times.
- The reservation holder must be present at check-in. Bring a valid photo ID and the physical credit card used for the reservation. An ID and credit card are required for each kayak rented.
- Late returns may incur additional charges, which are not included in the listed price.
- You may be responsible for damaged, lost, stolen, or unreturned equipment; any resulting charges are not included in the listed price.
- Stay within the approved Mission Bay paddling area. Ocean use is not permitted.
- Complete the rental agreement and required waivers before launching.
- Rentals require staff approval and suitable weather, wind, water conditions, and visibility. Unsafe conditions may delay, modify, or shorten your rental.
Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 72 hours in advance for a full refund. You'll also receive a full refund if the operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Refunds take up to 30 days to process. No-shows and same-day cancellations are charged the full price.

Yes. The Pro2 tandem kayak is designed to be paddled by one person or two.
Parking near Santa Clara Place can fill quickly, especially on weekends and holidays. Allow extra time. Additional parking may be available in the overflow lot along Santa Clara Place or near El Carmel Point.
Probably at least a little from paddling, splashing, or getting in and out. Wear a swimsuit or quick-drying clothing. Bring sunscreen, a hat, secure sunglasses, and drinking water.
