Clint, Chris, and Cadye have built something special here for anyone wanting to explore Texas Hill Country wines seriously. Reviewers consistently praise the team's deep knowledge of local vineyards, the terroir, and the stories behind each bottle. This isn't a party bus experience – it's for people genuinely curious about what's happening in the Texas wine scene, though the atmosphere stays relaxed and fun throughout. The customization stands out across reviews. The team actively adjusts itineraries based on preferences, accommodates last-minute changes, and clearly maintains strong relationships with local wineries that translate into warm welcomes and even special access like private barrel room tours. Communication earns repeated mentions as excellent from initial contact through the entire experience. Multiple guests specifically note how guides share their passion for the region, offering insider tips about Fredericksburg beyond just the wine stops, making the whole day feel like touring with a knowledgeable local friend.
I wanted a serious tour of Texas wine rather than a party experience and Cellar Rat did an awesome job for us. Highly recommended!
