With a near-perfect rating across hundreds of reviews, this Las Vegas food tour operation has clearly found a winning formula. Guides like Nap, Jim, Nick, and Kathy come up repeatedly in reviews, each praised for being genuinely knowledgeable, personable, and enthusiastic. Reviewers frequently describe their guide feeling less like a tour professional and more like a well-connected local friend showing them around. The tours themselves, covering both the Strip and downtown, hit a sweet spot between food and storytelling. Guests come away learning real history about Las Vegas while sampling a well-curated lineup of restaurants they likely wouldn't have discovered solo. One reviewer who had lived in Vegas for 20 years said she still learned things she didn't know. The food portions are generous enough that several people specifically noted skipping dinner afterward. If you're early in a Vegas trip and want to get your bearings while eating well, this is a smart way to do it. Repeat visitors are a notable pattern in the reviews, which says a lot about consistency.
What an incredible way to spend the 4th of July! My husband and I had an amazing time on the Downtown Delights Foodie Tour with our guide, Jim. He was welcoming, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Fremont Street and Downtown Las Vegas. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does, and it made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Every stop was fantastic, and honestly, there wasn’t a single thing we didn’t love. The food at Carajillo, Bangkok Thai Street Kitchen, and Bin 702 was absolutely scrumptious. One of our favorite stops was Waffelato at Container Park, where we enjoyed a delicious Hong Kong-style waffle with ice cream (or sorbet) and toppings—it was the perfect sweet treat to wrap up the tour! The tastings were generous, and by the end of all four stops we were completely stuffed. The small group size made it easy to chat with everyone and created such a fun, relaxed atmosphere. It felt more like exploring downtown with friends than being on a tour. I also love supporting local businesses, and it’s wonderful that Taste Buzz is female-owned and the only small, local, independent food tour company in Las Vegas. If you’re visiting Las Vegas—or even if you’re a local looking for something different—this tour is an absolute must. We can’t wait to come back and try another Taste Buzz tour!
