Important details
- A boater's license is required for operators born on or after September 1, 1993.
- No pets are permitted on board.
- A $400 security deposit hold, separate from the listed price, will be placed on your card within 48 hours of pickup. Sufficient funds are required. Funds are released within 3 days of the rental if no damage or fuel fees apply.
- Fuel is not included in the listed price. Return the boat with the same fuel level as at pickup; otherwise, you'll be charged for the fuel plus a $25 refueling service fee.
- You are responsible for damage during the rental. Repair costs may be deducted from the security deposit, and you'll be billed for damage exceeding that amount. Unsafe use may end your rental and forfeit your deposit.
- Accept the rental agreement, assumption of risk, liability release, and responsibility for claims arising from your use of the boat. You must be the sole operator and are responsible for passenger safety.
- Have a properly fitted, properly adjusted U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket for everyone aboard, and know how to put it on. Children under 12 must wear one at all times. Assign a responsible adult to monitor each child's whereabouts and safety.
- No smoking or alcoholic beverages are permitted on board. Do not operate under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Coolers, bags, and other containers may be inspected.
- Operate only between dawn and dusk. Use only the designated docking area, except in an emergency or with prior permission. Return the boat clean, free of garbage, and in its original condition apart from ordinary wear.
- Follow local boating laws, posted rules, safe speeds, and no-wake zones. Yield to sailboats and boats on your right when crossing; steer right when meeting head-on. When overtaking, leave ample room and give way. Use navigation lights when visibility is poor, and appoint a separate lookout if your view is obstructed.
- Keep everyone off the boat's front, sides, rear, and swim platform while underway. Before anyone enters the water or the area within 30 feet around the boat, turn off the motor, remove the keys, and wait 10 seconds. Never allow jumping or diving from a moving boat; check water depth before head-first diving.
- Count everyone aboard before starting the motor. Keep someone who knows how to operate the boat aboard whenever it is unanchored. Anchor only from the front where other boats can easily see you, do not overload the boat, and use the engine cut-off device if fitted. Do not use a generator unless it is supplied with the rental.
- Return on time: more than 1 hour late forfeits 50% of the security deposit; 3 hours late forfeits 100%. Rental time starts as scheduled, so arriving late may shorten your time on the water without compensation.
