6+ hours
Private trip, guides, equipment
Take on Ancient Art at Fisher Towers on a private, guided tower climb with a moderate grade and a short approach. Start early to help reduce congestion, but expect possible waits on this popular route.
Ages 8+. Meetup time varies by season and may change due to temperature and route conditions.
A 50% deposit is due at reservation. Two days prior: 100% of the trip total is due and charged to the card on file. Cancel 3+ days prior for a full refund. Cancel 2 days or less before departure: 100% is nonrefundable and cannot be rescheduled.
Bring climbing shoes, a helmet, and a harness (provided free of charge if needed), plus shoes for the short approach, a water bottle and water, snacks, sunblock, sunglasses, a camera, and a day pack large enough for water, snacks, and your helmet.
Your private climb includes guides, all technical equipment and ropes, and equipment when needed. Guides are AMGA-Certified Single Pitch Instructors.
Rock can need at least 24 hours after rain to dry, so plans may change due to weather. Your trip may be rescheduled or canceled the morning of your climb due to inclement weather.

Red River Adventures has built an exceptional reputation around avalanche safety education and backcountry skiing guided tours. Reviewers consistently praise their guides by name—Carl, Victoria, Sierra, Brian, John, Ryan, Garth, and Jeremy all get called out for being both highly knowledgeable and genuinely fun to spend time with. The instructors strike that rare balance of being approachable and professional while teaching critical safety skills that clients feel truly prepared to use afterward. The AIARE avalanche courses get particularly strong endorsements, with participants noting they leave with confidence and practical frameworks for route planning, terrain assessment, and decision-making in the backcountry. Several reviewers mention the instructors' ability to create a welcoming environment where questions are encouraged, and one woman specifically appreciated the all-female class option for its supportive atmosphere. Whether it's a single guided ski day or multi-day certification course, the team adapts smoothly to changing conditions and different skill levels, making the experience both educational and enjoyable for newcomers and experienced skiers alike.
