Know before you go

• Meet at the designated nearby launch point; pickup and drop-off are not directly on the lake
• Drivers must be at least 25 years old
• Hold a valid Michigan Boater Safety Certificate if born after June 30, 1996
• Ensure every driver and passenger completes an electronic waiver before departure
• Expect a $1,000 credit-card authorization hold at pickup for potential damage and fuel charges
• Expect fuel charges not included in the listed price: $6 per gallon needed to refill a tank not returned full
• Keep every child age 12 or younger in a Coast Guard-approved life jacket
• Remain seated inside the boat while the engine is running; do not ride on the front deck or outside the enclosed area
• Use towable tubes only with the tube package; do not tow another boat or vessel
• Operate only from sunrise to sunset, follow no-wake zones at idle speed, and turn off the engine when people are in the water
• Remove all trash before returning the boat; a $75 cleaning fee applies if trash is left behind
• Do not smoke or operate the boat under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Expect charges for lost or damaged equipment
