Important details
- Ages 21+ with a valid US driver's license are required to rent; operators must be 16+
- Advanced riding experience is required
- Single-snowmobile rentals require joining another group or extensive backcountry experience
- Bring a credit card and a vehicle equipped to tow a small trailer for pickup; snowmobiles are not delivered to trails
- Everyone in your group must sign a liability waiver; complete it before pickup if they will not be there
- Bring water-resistant winter clothing, boots, and gloves
- You are responsible for damage to or lost rental machines, equipment, and trailers
- Parking at Vail Pass costs $10 and is not included in the listed price
- Pick up between 6–7 PM the evening before or 8–10 AM on your rental day; return all machines by 6 PM to avoid late fees
- A $50 per-machine fee applies when a morning-after return is allowed
Cancellation Policy
Cancel 14+ days before for an 85% refund; 7–13 days before for a 75% refund. Within 7 days, no refund. More than 48 hours before, receive a full credit to move your date; within 48 hours, no credit or refund. Credits are valid for 12 months for winter or summer rentals; one date-change credit per booking.

A free trailer is not included with a single-snowmobile rental. A 2-place trailer is available for $65 per day, or use a free loading ramp to load the snowmobile into a pickup truck bed.
Yes. Optional damage insurance costs $35 per machine, per day and covers damages over $1,500.
