Explore coral reef life with a Hawaii marine naturalist
1.5 hrs
Snorkel gear, guide, snacks
Explore coral heads and marine life on a guided snorkel outing led by a divemaster and Hawaii marine naturalist. Spend approximately one hour in the water as you learn about the reef ecosystem.
Cancel at least 24 hours before tour time for a refund. Full refund if the operator cancels due to adverse ocean or weather conditions.
Maximum passenger weight: 250 lbs per person.
Bring eco-friendly, non-toxic sunscreen. Hawaii state law requires it to help protect coral reefs.
Keep your footwear on at the beach because Keawe tree thorns may be on the ground or buried in the sand.
Even with Tropical Storm Fausto blowing by the island, Maui Adventure Tours Kayak Co. delivered! Small groups and great guides. Some of the kayakers had never paddled and some had never snorkeled. It seemed everyone got the hand of it quickly. It felt very safe even with shooting out and back through the channel area from the beach to reach the snorkel spots. The highlight is always turtles. When you get see one, you know you’ve finally really made it to Hawaii. The guide expertly brought us to the turtles cleaning area where fish clean their shells. We didn’t see just one swim by. We watched five, some of them huge, just hanging out patiently waiting for their tun in the car wash. After we got back to the beach, we feasted on fresh coconut and tropical fruit; all of which the guide provided. I was stuffed! Hawaii is such an amazing place! So thankful to get to see it also from the water. I recommend Maui Adventures Kayak company! This was a great excursion.
