Rockin' Star Ranch Brenham
Darrell, Julie, and the rest of the team here have built something genuinely special. Guests consistently rave about the warm, personal hospitality and the patience shown to first-time riders. The trail rides go beyond just sitting on a horse, with guests brushing, saddling, and walking the horses themselves, making it feel like a real ranch experience rather than a tourist activity. The property itself draws a lot of praise too, with beautiful Texas scenery, well-cared-for horses, and a surprisingly diverse collection of animals including goats, lemurs, baby deer, and friendly farm dogs. The ranch works well for a wide range of visits, from overnight stays and weddings to quick two-hour trail rides. Families, couples, and solo travelers all seem to leave feeling like they got more than they bargained for. The overwhelming pattern across reviews is that people feel genuinely welcomed, not just accommodated, and many mention wanting to return or already planning their next visit.
Me and my bf had a blast! For the first time riding, they were patient and kind. Highly recommended coming to this beautiful ranch!
