Christian clearly runs a diving operation that excels at making nervous or first-time divers feel completely at ease. Review after review praises his calm, patient demeanor and ability to create a safe, supportive environment in the water. People repeatedly mention feeling anxious beforehand but confident afterward, thanks to his professional yet warm approach. The emphasis on personalized attention really shows—whether it's one-on-one instruction or small group dives, Christian takes time to ensure everyone feels comfortable with the equipment and underwater techniques. The team extends beyond Christian too. Dive masters like Zoe and Ella get specific shoutouts for being wonderful with new and young divers, and Emma the photographer comes highly recommended for capturing memorable footage. Equipment is consistently described as well-maintained and reliable. The general vibe is professional, communicative, and genuinely caring about each diver's experience, from initial emails through the final dive. One customer had a frustrating experience with delayed communication about course materials and felt the timeline was misleading, ultimately requesting a refund. However, this stands alone against an overwhelming pattern of praise for responsiveness and professionalism. For travelers seeking a supportive, safety-focused dive experience in Oahu—especially if you're new or returning after time away—this comes highly recommended.
We had an amazing diving experience with Lokahi today! We explored a shipwreck and beautiful coral reefs. Our first dive reached a depth of 105 feet, and the second dive was 65 feet. The dive shop provided high-quality equipment, which made everything very convenient. Christian was professional and knowledgeable. He shared a lot of interesting facts about marine life, making the trip even more enjoyable. The whole experience was super chill, and I was able to capture some incredible shots of fascinating sea creatures and the shipwreck. Highly recommend Lokahi for an unforgettable dive.
