Upon completion of your academic materials prior to your arrival, we will discuss the proper use of an underwater compass and how it can be used with natural navigation after which we will conduct compass practical application and short pool skills review. In the afternoon we will put your navigation skills to the test during 2 boat dives at Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary reef.

Great crew with Captain Katie, Dive Master Allison, and Guide and Dive Master Jim. Captain slowed and stopped boat to observe pod of dolphins and multiple turtles on the way out and back. Jim did a great job in finding and pointing out fish. Conditions were great with no current and waves. Like diving in a swimming pool. Multiple tropical fish. Saw Caribbean reef shark.
