Know before you go
- Ages 3+ only
- A minimum of 4 participants is required for the trip to run
- Children under 14 require at least one adult age 18+ on the trip
- A Montana Conservation License is required for ages 13+; a valid Montana hunting or fishing license qualifies
- Complete a waiver before participating
- Basic mobility and reasonably good physical condition are required; pregnancy is not permitted
- Arrive at your scheduled trip time
Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 48 hours before departure for a full refund. Cancellations 24–48 hours before departure are charged 50%; within 24 hours and no-shows are charged 100%. Full refund if the operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
FAQs
Wear a bathing suit or clothes you do not mind getting wet, plus shoes that stay on your feet; do not wear flip-flops. Bring sunscreen, water, a towel or dry clothes, snacks, drinks, sunglasses or a hat, and a waterproof case for your phone or belongings.
Expect 1–2.5 hours on the water during your Madison River tube float. Float time varies with river flows.
