Itinerary
Tour Itinerary: Peekaboo Slot Canyon & Great Chamber Adventure Meeting Point Join your guide at the Peekaboo Trailhead parking lot, located off Highway 89 between mile markers 72 and 73, approximately 9 miles north of Kanab, Utah. Restrooms are available at the trailhead.
Departure — Trailhead to Sand Dunes (10 minutes) Climb aboard your UTV and head out across the stunning high desert landscape of Southern Utah. Your expert guide will navigate you through exciting off-road trails with breathtaking views of the surrounding canyon country before arriving at the coral pink sand dunes.
Stop 1 — Coral Pink Sand Dunes & Sandboarding Pull up to one of Southern Utah's most unique natural features — towering coral pink sand dunes set against a dramatic red rock backdrop. Grab a sandboard and take a few runs down the dunes for an unforgettable desert experience. Take your time, snap some photos, and enjoy the views before heading deeper into the backcountry.
Sand Dunes to Peekaboo Slot Canyon (5 minutes) Back on the UTV, your guide takes you a short distance further into the desert to one of Kanab's most beloved local secrets.
Stop 2 — Peek-a-Boo Slot Canyon Step off the UTV and into one of Southern Utah's most stunning hidden gems. Peek-a-Boo Slot Canyon is a secluded, narrow canyon tucked away in the high desert and known mostly to locals. Wind through its beautifully sculpted sandstone walls, carved over millions of years into incredible shapes and patterns. Your guide will share the geology, history, and stories behind this remarkable place while you explore, hike, and capture photos at your own pace. Easy walking, suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
Peekaboo to The Great Chamber (20-30 minutes) Re-board your UTV for the most scenic leg of the journey. Your guide navigates through remote backcountry trails, giving you a true taste of Southern Utah's wild and rugged landscape before arriving at one of the region's most awe-inspiring hidden destinations.
Stop 3 — The Great Chamber Prepare to be amazed. The Great Chamber is a massive natural alcove carved into the desert sandstone — a cathedral-like formation that few visitors ever get to experience. Stand inside one of nature's most spectacular hidden spaces, soak in the scale and silence, and take in views that will stay with you long after you leave. Your guide will share the history and significance of this remarkable geological wonder while you explore and photograph this truly unforgettable location.
Return to Trailhead Board your UTV for the scenic ride back through the trails to the Peekaboo Trailhead where your adventure began. Your guide will be happy to answer any questions about the area, share recommendations for other things to see and do in Southern Utah, and help you make the most of your time in Kanab.

If you arrive more than 20 minutes after the scheduled start time, the tour can’t be completed and there is no refund.
