Itinerary
- Instruction and assessment on a 75' practice wall.
- Hike through ponderosa pine forest to the rim of Eye of the Needle™ slot canyon.
- Be lowered to the initial starting platform.
- Climb the cliff band via ferrata route and return to the rim.

Important details
- Ages 12+ only
- Minimum height is 5 feet; weight must be between 88 and 260 lbs
- Requires reasonable physical fitness and comfort with heights and exposure
- Requires rapidly learning technical skills and actively managing your own safety
- Pass the practice-wall assessment before accessing the main route
- English speaking is required
- Bring water and food or snacks for 5–6 hours; use a hydration pack or tether water bottles to yourself
- Bring sunscreen, comfortable seasonal clothing and a wind or rain coat; bring warm layers in spring and fall
- Bring gloves in cooler temperatures; pants are recommended because you will wear a harness
- Expect route and operational changes when weather or safety conditions require them

Free cancellation more than 3 days before start. Cancellations within 72 hours of the start time are non-refundable. If the guide determines conditions are unsafe and a reschedule or comparable experience is not possible, you'll receive a full refund.
