Discover Oahu's underwater world on guided reef dives with all gear included
2.5–3 hrs
Scuba gear, Wetsuit, Instructor
Dive Waikiki’s coral reefs with a private instructor. All scuba gear and a wetsuit are provided, with average dive times of 25–45 minutes per dive depending on air consumption.
Arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled tour for parking and check-in; late arrivals cannot join. Scuba diving may not be suitable if you are pregnant, have asthma, or have a history of seizures; consult your physician. When booking, guests must provide all requested information, including each diver’s full name, date of birth, height, weight, shoe size, certification levels, total number of logged dives, and the date of their most recent dive.
Q: How deep can I go?
A: Recreational divers typically dive to a maximum depth of 60 feet with an Open Water Certification and 130 feet with an Advanced Open Water Certification.
Q: How long can I stay underwater?
A: Dive times may vary depending on depth and your breathing rate. Average dive times range from 25–45 minutes.
Q: What if my ears hurt when I go to the bottom of a swimming pool or when I am snorkeling?
A: This is normal; it's the water pressure pressing on your ears. You can usually equalize the pressure by "popping" your ears.
Q: Can I dive on my own?
A: No, you need to dive with a buddy and/or under the supervision of a certified instructor.
Q: Am I allowed to touch marine life or coral?
A: No, touching any marine life and/or coral is strictly prohibited by state laws and company policy.

Ricki and Rachel have built something special here, with perfect 5-star ratings backed by genuinely enthusiastic reviews. These instructors consistently make nervous first-timers feel completely at ease, and their patience and expertise shine through whether you're able-bodied or have physical disabilities. The team has exceptional credentials in adaptive diving, with years of experience working with paralyzed and wheelchair-using divers, making this one of the best options anywhere for accessible scuba experiences. Beyond their specialized skills, they excel at helping anxious beginners relax and enjoy the underwater world. The dives themselves deliver on marine life, with groups regularly spotting sea turtles, eels, octopuses, puffer fish, and colorful reef fish. Instructors like Kyle and Faith also get glowing mentions for their kindness and skill. Practical tip: arrive 30-40 minutes early for parking and restrooms, and you won't need much beyond a small bag with your essentials.
LOOK. NO. FURTHER. 5 STARS FOR A REASON! This was my first time diving, and I did the Discovery Scuba Dive. Any nerves or questions I had were quickly eased thanks to our amazing guide, Rachel. Her experience, patience, and easygoing personality made me feel completely comfortable and safe, both on the boat and in the water. Because of her, I had an unforgettable and truly epic experience! We did the 11am start time and got to see turtles, puffer fish, starfish, an eel, and so many other beautiful marine creatures. Make sure to get there like 30-40mins early to find parking and use the restroom. You don’t need to bring much — just a small bag with your phone, GoPro, and some water. I didn’t even use a towel until I got back to my car. Also, definitely grab one of the Discover Scuba Hawaii hooded Dri-Fit shirts, perfect for after your dive! I’ll be recommending this to anyone and everyone who wants to try scuba diving, it’s 100% worth it!
