- Arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time; late arrivals are not guaranteed to participate
- Ages 3+ only
- Single kayaks are for ages 13+ and have a 275 lb maximum paddler weight
- Tandem kayaks have a 400 lb combined maximum weight
- Complete the required waiver before participating
- Requires wearing a properly fitted flotation jacket while on the water, following guide instructions, and entering and exiting a kayak independently or with minimal assistance
- Requires sitting upright, maintaining balance in a kayak, and being comfortable in the water while wearing a flotation jacket
- Requires remaining calm after a capsize and accepting guide assistance during a rescue
- Requires managing personal care needs independently or with help from a family member
- Disclose medical conditions that could affect participation in advance
- No alcohol or impairing substances during paddling hours
- City parking fees are not included and apply from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, March 1 through October 31
Cancellation Policy
Cancel more than 96 hours before start for a full refund less a 5% processing fee. Cancel within 96 hours for a 50% charge; same-day cancellations and no-shows are charged in full. Reschedule free more than 96 hours ahead or for $25 within 96 hours. Full refund if the operator cancels for unsafe weather.

Bring a water bottle, sun protection (hat, sunglasses with retainer, sunscreen), quick-dry clothing (avoid cotton), footwear that can get wet, a light layer for wind or cooler temps, and any essential medications. You can also bring snacks and bug spray. A towel to leave in your car is optional.
