4 Hour Rental
Kayak rental, Shuttle ride
Rent a kayak for up to 4 hours and enjoy a relaxed paddle between West Fork Boat Ramp and Jefferson Springs Recreation. Expect still water with plenty of options to cruise, swim, and explore at your own pace.
Please arrive 15 minutes before your reserved float time. Weight capacities noted: singles 300 lbs and tandems 700 lbs. Shuttles are only for people bringing their own kayaks, and you must notify the operator if choosing the Jefferson Springs takeoff-and-return option.
Full refund if you give 48 hour notice of cancellation. If you cancel within 48 hours of your booking you will receive a refund minus 15%. No-shows will be charged the full price. If you are 30 min late for your reservation, the operator reserves the right to rent your kayak or canoe.
What should I bring (and what should I avoid bringing)?
Bring suitable water shoes (flip flops not recommended), water, sunscreen, towels, and lunch/snacks. Avoid bringing non-waterproof electronics or unprotected cell phones. The operator is not responsible for lost items.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes—dogs are welcome as long as they aren’t too large or otherwise make your float unsafe.
Where do I leave the kayaks when I’m done?
Please do not leave kayaks on the boat ramp. If no one is there to pick them up, place them just past the boat ramp in the grass area, out of other people’s way (drivers should also instruct you where to leave them).
Is there a restroom available?
Yes. A restroom is available at Jefferson Springs Recreation Area.
