Transport, Tastings, Lunch
Experience Kentucky’s Horse Country and Bourbon Country in one full-day outing. Ride with a guide, tour Kismet Horse Farm, enjoy distillery experiences at Woodford Reserve and Whiskey Thief, and savor a local lunch.
Guests must be 21+ with valid ID to drink; public tours welcome ages 12+. No alcohol may be consumed before a horse farm or cooperage visit. Vehicles are non-smoking; coolers up to 12x12 with non-alcoholic drinks are allowed; wear closed-toe shoes and casual dress.
Are there age restrictions on bourbon tours?
To legally drink in Kentucky, you must be 21 years of age and have a valid form of identification. Underage guests or guests without ID will not be permitted to drink. Most distilleries allow underage guests to tour without tasting. For ticketed public bourbon tours, children must be 12 years of age or older.
Do I have to drink on a bourbon tour?
No. Many guests choose to enjoy Bourbon Country without tasting. Tours share the history and craftsmanship of bourbon for everyone to enjoy.
What kind of vehicles do you use for tours?
Most public bourbon tours travel in one of our comfortable 22-passenger buses.
Is it customary to tip the tour guide or driver?
Gratuity is always appreciated and up to you.
Where should I park for my Ticketed Tour that departs from the Omni Hotel?
All public tours depart from the Omni Hotel in downtown Louisville. We recommend parking in the Omni Parking Garage or the Starks Garage, both across the street from the Omni Hotel.
Reservations are paid at booking and are non-refundable. Cancellations less than 5 days before the tour and no-shows are non-refundable. Tickets are only valid for the date purchased.
