Important details
- A valid driver's license with a motorcycle endorsement is required. Bring your license and a photo of it. Failure to present a valid motorcycle license on arrival results in cancellation without refund.
- Included insurance covers riders ages 21+. Riders under 21 require their own comprehensive insurance and a motorcycle-endorsed license.
- Fuel and applicable return, damage, loss, and service charges are not included in the listed price. Return the motorcycle with a full tank of 92-octane gasoline; otherwise, a $25 fuel charge applies.
- You are responsible for the first $5,000 of motorcycle damage, regardless of fault, plus rental revenue lost while the bike is unavailable for repairs or parts. Damage caused by violating the rental terms or deliberately damaging the bike remains your full responsibility. Mechanical damage caused by negligent operation or failure to perform normal maintenance may also be charged.
- Charges are $50 for each lost key, flat tire, dead battery, missing registration card, or missing no-fault insurance card; $125 for a missing license plate; and at least $100 for a lost or damaged helmet, including scratches or scuffs.
- You are responsible for tire-changing and roadside-service costs, lost or stolen tools, tires, and accessories, and parking or traffic fines. These costs are not included in the listed price.
- Keep the motorcycle on Maui. This dual sport model is permitted on the south-side route to or from Hana and off road. All motorcycles are tracked by GPS.
- Only you are authorized to drive the motorcycle. Do not use it for racing, reckless riding, towing, or transporting passengers or property for hire. Do not ride under the influence of intoxicants or narcotics, or carry surfboards, kayaks, canoes, or gliders. Violating these operating rules ends your riding authorization and voids insurance coverage.
- Wear closed-toed shoes and long pants. Complete the waiver before riding; you can sign it in person on arrival.
- Check the engine oil level at every refueling. Lock the motorcycle and remove the keys whenever it is not in use. Attaching equipment or other items requires written permission.
- Make an immediate police report for any damage, and file a police report within 2 hours of an accident. Failure to report or cooperate can leave you responsible for rental charges until the motorcycle is recovered. Return the keys if the motorcycle is missing or stolen to avoid continuing rental charges.
- The reserved motorcycle may be substituted if maintenance is needed. Return it in the same condition, allowing for ordinary wear, and remove your personal belongings before handing it back.
- Return the motorcycle by its due-back date and time. Returns 30 minutes or more late incur a minimum one-hour charge. If a late return causes the next reservation to be lost, you may be liable for that reservation's full charges. Motorcycles not returned by the due-back date are reported to police as missing vehicles.
