Dress in layers for cool mornings and warmer afternoons. Bring sunscreen, mosquito spray, and a sun hat if needed. Wear shoes with good traction if you plan to hike to the mist of Lower Yosemite Falls. Binoculars are recommended for spotting climbers on El Capitan, and you may bring a refillable water bottle.
Tour bus seats have standard seatbelts only. If you bring an infant in a car seat, arrive early to install the car seat yourself before the Yosemite Valley tour departs.
