Meet us at 631 Jewett Hill Road in Canton, Maine
This family-run operation in Canton, Maine has earned serious devotion from visitors who consistently praise the exceptional care given to the dogs. Alex, Sarah, and their team come across as genuinely passionate about the sport and their animals, with multiple reviewers noting how well-maintained the property is and how happy the dogs seem. The staff is knowledgeable and welcoming, eager to answer endless questions about the dogs' personalities and how they're cared for year-round. Several guests mention this exceeded dog sledding experiences they've had elsewhere. The trails wind through beautiful, privately owned land that feels wonderfully secluded, and the heated yurt provides a cozy spot to warm up and pet the friendly dogs before or after your ride. Visitors universally recommend booking the longer tour options since the time flies by so quickly once you're out on the trails. People have driven hours specifically for this experience or built their honeymoons around it, and it consistently delivers. One minor note: tours may run slightly shorter on warmer days. The s'mores board gets a special shout-out, and families with kids particularly love the whole setup.
Very cool experience! We booked our honeymoon around this experience and it was so enjoyable. Sarah and Alex really know their dogs and can tell you all about them and their skills and personalities. This is a true family business rooted in passion. The dogs were well cared for and the property was very nicely maintained. Our 1.5hr experience was a little shorter than expected but it was also a warmer day in the season. Definitely a luxury type experience but worth the money! Would recommend this company to anyone visiting Maine.
