Build foundational surfing skills through land-based ocean education and, when conditions are safe, water practice. Learn how to respect the environment and care for your body while surfing.
- Learn to read the weather, warm up properly, and identify parts of the board
- Practice using surf wax and preparing for your session on land
- Develop paddling, safe falling, and pop-up techniques in the water when it is safe to do so
- Meet at Kapalua Bay's far-right end by the rental place for Westside sessions
- Meet at The Cove Beach Park's far-left end under the shade tree for Southside sessions

Receive a full refund with at least 48 hours' notice. If severe weather or unforeseen circumstances cause an operator cancellation and rescheduling isn't possible, receive a full refund. No-shows are charged the full price.
