The staff here, including team members like Angela, Kyle, Chris, and Dave, consistently get called out by name in reviews, which says a lot about the kind of personal attention renters receive. They take time to properly fit each rider, explain the bikes, and share detailed trail knowledge before you head out. First-timers and experienced riders alike seem to leave feeling well-prepared. The trails are the real draw, whether it's the scenic Spruce Railroad Trail along Lake Crescent or the climb up to the hot springs. Multiple reviewers mention returning year after year, which is about as strong an endorsement as you can get. The bikes are well-maintained and the rental process is smooth, with clear communication from reservation to return. One reviewer noted a faulty battery on one bike and another experienced a flat, but both situations were handled well by the staff. The hot springs trail involves some elevation and the bypass section is noted as more challenging for beginners, so it's worth asking the team for trail guidance when you book. Overall, this is a well-run operation with genuinely enthusiastic staff who clearly care about making the day a good one.
After biking up to the hot springs, I'm glad we rented the e bikes. I'm not sure but I believe his name was David, our bike tech, was incredibly helpful and informative far beyond the bike instructions. The map they had printed was so helpful, take the time and get to the last hot springs, it's worth it. The bikes worked great, they made it easy.
