2-Hour Kayak Or Paddle Board Rental In Houston

Most kayakers rave about the guides here, with Josh, Dillon, Bryant, and Chad earning enthusiastic praise for their friendliness, patience with beginners, and knowledge of Houston history. The bat tours seem especially popular, with guides making first-time paddlers feel comfortable while sharing fascinating facts about the area. Several reviews mention guides going above and beyond, like Bryant personally driving lost customers to the launch site. The team handles large groups well and takes great photos too. There are a few concerning reviews about disorganized tours and less engaging guides. Some customers reported issues with late starts, dirty equipment, guides who seemed unprepared or didn't share much information, and one chaotic bat tour where timing was off. These negative experiences seem inconsistent with the majority, suggesting quality may vary depending on which guide you get. The overwhelmingly positive feedback indicates most visitors have wonderful experiences, particularly on the bat tours at sunset, though it's worth noting the occasional hiccup in service standards.
