Unlimited Biking delivers a solid bike rental and tour experience in New York, with particular praise going to their tour guides who clearly make the trips memorable. Dan stands out repeatedly as an exceptional guide—reviewers rave about his knowledge of NYC and Central Park, his entertaining personality, and ability to make everyone feel welcome. Richard also gets a shoutout for being personable and sharing fascinating stories. The bikes themselves are well-maintained and reasonably priced, whether you're joining a guided tour or just grabbing a day pass to explore on your own. There are a couple things to keep in mind. One frustrated customer had issues with pass redemption, mentioning poor communication and additional charges for e-bikes when only those were available. Another noted that while the bikes were great quality, brake adjustments were needed before use. Some suggest comparing options with the city's bike share program depending on your plans. That said, the overwhelming majority had fantastic experiences, with many calling their bike tour a highlight of their New York trip. The guided Central Park tours seem especially popular and worthwhile.
Our tour with Matias was excellent. He was very friendly and punctual. Despite being a large group (14 people), we stayed very close and followed Matias's instructions, which allowed us to see everything on schedule. The views are beautiful, and you have time for photos at iconic locations.
