Wear no flip-flops. For summer riding, bring sunglasses, sunscreen, a light jacket or sweatshirt, and a poncho. For winter riding, bring goggles, a heavy jacket, gloves, thermals, a neck warmer, a small beanie or ski hat for under your helmet, and heavy or layered socks.
