This is a bareboat charter, so you must separately select and engage a properly licensed U.S. Coast Guard captain. Fuel is charged based on actual usage, and gratuity is customary and discretionary (15–20% typical), paid to the independently selected captain and any crew.

Cancellation Policy
Cancel more than 5 days before departure for a full refund of charter fees paid to the vessel owner. Within 5 days, charter fees are non-refundable. If the captain cancels for unsafe weather and you can’t reschedule, charter fees paid to the vessel owner are refunded.

Yes. This is a bareboat (demise) charter, so you must separately select and engage a properly licensed U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) captain. You can use your own qualified captain (subject to vessel owner approval and insurance requirements) or choose from an informational roster of independent, insurance-approved captains.
Plan for fuel, which is charged based on actual usage. Gratuity is not included; it is customary and discretionary, with 15–20% of the charter price being typical, and is paid directly to your independently selected captain and any crew at the end of the charter.
Bring your own food and beverages. Do not bring red wine or glass beer bottles (wine and champagne are permitted). Avoid items that may stain upholstery.
