Tierra Verde's boat rental operation has clearly won over a loyal following with their straightforward approach and reliable equipment. The check-in and check-out process gets consistent praise for being quick and hassle-free, while the staff, including team members like Billy, Brandon, and Frank, earn mentions for being genuinely helpful and friendly. Boats and jet skis are reported to be in great shape, with families returning year after year without encountering mechanical issues. The location is a standout feature, offering easy access to popular spots like Egmont Key, local sandbars, and the Gulf. People appreciate being able to explore the intercoastal waterway and nearby beaches without lengthy travel times. However, one visitor had a disappointing fishing experience, noting that the rental fishing gear was poor quality and lacked basic equipment. If you're planning a fishing-focused trip, you might want to bring your own gear or confirm what's included upfront. Otherwise, this operation seems to deliver exactly what most boaters want: reliable equipment, smooth logistics, and a prime launching point.
Solid boat, good engine. good anchors, could use better anchor line, but minor issue. Highly recommend.
