Do you need to pass a safety assessment?

This is an absolute standout for anyone wanting to escape Maui's typical tourist scene. Guides Frankie and Donnie consistently earn praise for their knowledge, patience, and ability to tailor rides to different skill levels. The real magic here is the exclusive access to private ranch land on Haleakalā's slopes, where you'll ride completely car-free trails through lava fields and kiawe forests with stunning ocean views. Even experienced mountain bikers from places like BC rave about the terrain and scenery. The e-bikes are a game changer, letting families and beginners tackle climbs they'd never manage otherwise while still providing a solid workout for those who want it. Multiple reviewers mention it was physically challenging but totally doable, with the pedal assist making the difference. Expect to see axis deer, maybe even pueo owls, and enjoy truly unique landscapes most visitors never experience. Tours are private and intimate, which adds to the special feel. This consistently ranks as a top-three Maui experience for guests.

What people are saying

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ AN ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE MAUI ADVENTURE! 🚴‍♂️🌴 What an AMAZING morning riding through one of the MOST BEAUTIFUL AREAS OF MAUI! From start to finish, this was an incredible experience. FRANKIE IS AN OUTSTANDING HOST! From the very beginning, he made sure everything was easy, organized, and truly FIVE-STAR. The directions to the meeting point were simple, the shuttle was convenient, and everything was handled seamlessly. Before we started, Frankie gave us a great introduction to the experience and really emphasized HOW SPECIAL THE LAND IS that we were about to ride through. After a quick drive and bike fitting, we were off! The higher we climbed, the MORE SPECTACULAR THE VIEWS BECAME. With HALEAKALĀ behind us and the islands of MOLOKINI AND KAHOʻOLAWE stretching out in front of us, every stop was an opportunity to take in another breathtaking view. 🌊🏔️ One of the things that really stood out was FRANKIE’S KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRAILS AND HIS ATTENTION TO SAFETY. He pointed out difficult sections and potential hazards along the way, which made the ride feel relaxed, comfortable, and safe. We could simply enjoy the ride and TAKE IN THE INCREDIBLE BEAUTY ALL AROUND US. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BIKE TOUR! The combination of the beautiful scenery, incredible trails, knowledgeable guide, easy access, and proximity to the major SOUTH MAUI RESORTS AND HOTELS makes this experience hard to beat. And the best part? Within just a few minutes, you’re at a PRIVATE RANCH WITH NO TRAFFIC, NO CARS FLYING BY, AND NO CROWDS. It feels like you have this incredible part of Maui all to yourself. It’s a FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE FOR BEGINNERS because of how safe and well-guided it is, while still being incredibly enjoyable for more experienced riders. IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR A UNIQUE WAY TO EXPERIENCE MAUI, BOOK THIS TOUR! 🚴‍♂️🌴🌊 FIVE STARS ALL AROUND — AMAZING SCENERY, AMAZING EXPERIENCE, AND AN AMAZING HOST! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
