Know before you go
- Ages 12+ only; an Open Water Diver certification is required
- Check in at 8:00 AM before the 8:30 AM boat departure
- Complete online learning before your dives; e-learning materials are not included in the listed price
- Complete a dive medical questionnaire in advance; some conditions require written physician approval
- Complete a liability waiver and present proof of dive certification at check-in
- Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
- Bring your certification card, swimwear, towels, and reef-safe non-spray sun protection
- Do not bring open flames or glass containers on the boat
- Do not use cameras or GoPros during lessons
- Consume alcohol only after you are finished diving for the day
- Boat trips require at least 3 divers; certification scheduling requires at least 2 students
- A $150 private-instruction charge may apply for solo students, based on instructor availability and scheduling demand
- Gratuity is not included; customary boat-staff gratuity is 20%
- Optional round-trip taxi service is not included: $108 flat for 1–3 people, then $36 per person for 4–9, $35 for 10–15, and $33 for 16+
Cancellation Policy
Receive a full refund with at least 72 hours' notice, or a 50% refund with 48 hours' notice. No refund with less than 48 hours' notice. No-shows are charged the full price. Full refund if the operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
FAQs
Complete the course over three half days, usually from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, including five required dives and a sixth fun dive.
Bring a waterproof dry bag or leave water-sensitive items at home. Waves may splash the boat, and items onboard can get wet.
Snacks, soda, and water are included. Bring a personal snack if you have dietary restrictions.
