Hanalei Bay, Kaua‘i
Launching from Hanalei Bay puts this tour closer to the Na Pali Coast than most operators, and the catamaran setup makes a real difference out there. Shaded seating, a proper onboard restroom, and a stable ride mean you're actually comfortable for the full four hours rather than just enduring it. Captains like Clay, Lance, Casey, and Miguel come up repeatedly in reviews for being genuinely skilled on the water while keeping things fun and informative along the way. The wildlife encounters are a consistent highlight, with dolphins, sea turtles, and sea caves showing up in nearly every account. The crew's knowledge of Hawaiian history and the coastline's geology adds real depth to what could otherwise just be a sightseeing cruise. The lunch gets positive mentions too, with locally made sandwiches that people actually bother to call out by name. The office staff also earns praise for being responsive and accommodating when weather causes changes to the schedule. Across the board, reviewers describe this as the standout experience of their entire Kauai trip, which is saying something on an island full of options. The crew's focus on safety without sacrificing the adventure side of things seems to be what keeps people recommending it so strongly.
11 out of 10! Best day with the best captains. Captain Clay has decades of experience and it was a day i’ll never forget. The coastline was breathtaking but that was only one of the memories we made. We got to explore caves. hear about the rich history of Hawaii and its people, and snorkel with sea turtles, needlefish, eel and rainbow colored varieties. to top it off, a playful school of dolphins joined alongside our catamaran which was pure magic. What sets this. company apart is their dedication to safety, knowledge and respect for the island and commitment to making the excursion fun for all. I can’t wait to go again. Thanks Na Pali Catamaran! 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
