I cannot say enough amazing things about our summer sled dog tour with Alaska Dogstead! 🐾❄️ Nic was absolutely awesome. He took the time to introduce us to each of the dogs, share their individual personalities and histories, and tell us stories from his racing experiences. We even learned how to properly put on the harnesses and got to harness every dog ourselves before heading out, And then came the run! The dogs were SO fast, enthusiastic, and words just cannot describe how amazing it is to be apart of their run. It truly felt like our own little choose-your-own-adventure as we got to decide which trails to take along the way. We splashed through big puddles, raced through the trails, and even stopped to eat fresh raspberries right off the vine. It was such a unique, hands-on experience that I’ll never forget. You can tell how much Nic loves these dogs and how much they mean to him, and getting to experience a little piece of their world was incredibly special. This was an awesome, awesome experience, and I’m genuinely so grateful we got to do it. If you’re visiting Alaska and have the opportunity to go, it's a must!
