Yes. Avalanche safety gear (beacon, shovel, probe, and pack) and backcountry skis or a splitboard with skins are not included. Rental touring setups, splitboards, and avalanche equipment are available for an additional cost.
This is a physically demanding backcountry outing. Good physical condition is recommended.
