Itinerary
- Arrival & Welcome: Meet and greet with Juliet. We discuss the purpose of the lesson, address any inhibitions, and review detailed safety for paddling in all conditions.
- Equipment Fitting: Guests are fitted with paddleboard gear and move to the grass area to learn paddle sizing and proper technique for holding and using the paddle.
- Board Basics: Introduction to the paddleboard — understanding the fin, where to stand, and how to balance. Practice standing techniques on land before heading to the water.
- On‑Water Practice: Paddle to the middle of the lake on your knees, practicing getting on and off the board. You will be swimming and fully submerged in water during this stage.
- Standing & Balance: Transition to standing and paddling, then progress to walking and even dancing on the board to build confidence and balance — no frozen paddlers after Juliet’s lessons!
- Turns & Control: Practice turns and board control, then finish with a guided paddle across the lake to put your new skills into action.
- Photography: All guests will be photographed throughout the experience, capturing your progress and joyful moments on the water.

Important details
- Arrive 15 minutes early for check-in and equipment fitting
- Swimming without a life vest is required
- Ages 15+ only for group classes; younger children require a private lesson or family session
- Weight limit 275 lbs
- Disclose injuries before the lesson; severe injuries require a private one-on-one session
- Complete the required waiver before participating
- Bring sunscreen, water-ready swimwear or tight-fitting sportswear, and a towel
- Lessons close when winds are consistently 15 mph or higher
- Consume alcoholic beverages only after the class

Cancellation Policy
No refunds. Last-minute cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable. If canceled because of adverse weather, including high winds, you can reschedule to another available date.
