Full refund with 24 hours notice of cancellation. Full refund if the operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. No-shows will be charged the full price.
Arrive at least 10 minutes before your start time. Sessions run back-to-back, so arriving late reduces your time on the water.

Sam, the instructor behind this San Diego paddle boarding experience, has built a devoted following for good reason. She has a genuine talent for making both first-timers and nervous dogs feel at ease on the water, offering clear instruction before and during each session. Reviewers consistently praise her patience, deep knowledge of dog behavior, and ability to read both humans and their pups to tailor the experience accordingly. The lessons run about an hour and are offered as private sessions, making them feel personal rather than rushed. Sam also snaps photos throughout, which many reviewers mention as a lovely bonus. People bring all kinds of dogs, from anxious and water-resistant pups to high-energy breeds, and the boards are described as stable and accommodating even for larger dogs. Many visitors come back for multiple lessons, and quite a few mention wishing they lived closer so they could go regularly. If paddle boarding with your dog in San Diego is on your radar, this one seems hard to beat.
