Wear closed shoes, sneakers, or hiking sandals; water shoes are not recommended. Choose hiking or exercise clothes that protect you from scratches, insect stings, and poison ivy. Avoid long jeans.
Avoid large backpacks made of heavy fabric, as they absorb water and can become uncomfortable to carry. A non-waterproof backpack will be provided for the adventure.
Avoid alcoholic beverages the night before, as dehydration can reduce performance and increase risk during the activity.
